Blog videos can be an enticing way to build your blog readership and
following, since they provide an audio-video experience that can be more
entertaining and captivating than posts that only contain text. You can
use many video sharing websites such as YouTube and Google Video to add
a video to your blog. After uploading your video you will get an embed
code that you can copy and paste into your blog's HTML.

- Go to the YouTube homepage and log in using the "Sign In" link in the top-right corner of the page. If you don't have a YouTube account you will have to click on the "Create Account" link to create a new account and then return to the YouTube homepage to sign in.
- Browse to the page that allows you to upload videos by clicking the "Upload" link on the YouTube homepage. The link is located near the search bar at the top.
- Fill in the form on the Upload page. It will ask you to provide the following information.
- Title: a short title for your video.
- Description: a brief paragraph describing what your video is about.
- Tags: keywords that people should type in the search bar to find your video (separate each tag with a space in between).
- Video Category: select the category that the video belongs to, such as Comedy, Sports, Music or Film and Animation.
- Language: use the drop-down menu to select the language that your video is in.
- Press the "Continue Uploading" button at the bottom of the screen.
- Use the "Browse" button to browse to the video file on your computer and select it.
- Select "Public: Share your video with the world" under the Broadcast options.
- Start uploading your video by pressing the "Upload Video" button at the bottom of the screen.
- Mark a dot next to "Enabled" in the page that appears next asking if you want to allow external sites to embed the video that you have uploaded.
- Copy the "Embed HTML" code that appears after you enable the embed feature and paste it within the HTML of your blog where you want it to appear.
